Landing page & Sign-up
The user will be directed to a sign-up or a login page from the landing page
For students, the following information is recorded:
- Full Name
- Registration Number
- Year
- Phone Number
- Email- ID
- Password
Type and password validation is also implemented on this screen
Home page & Articles
- The Navigation bar contains:
- Latest updates
- Current trends and news in the field of IT
- A variety of articles are presented to the user
- Student/Staff contributed articles on technical fields, guides, and interesting topics
- Self-help articles eg. managing stress, exam pressure, etc
- Interviews of important people in the IT field
- Placements and higher studies- tips and tricks
- Non-technical content such as photo/art gallery, stories, poems
- Each article also has the option to like, dislike and bookmark
- The footer displays information about the MIT IT department and the Virtuoso team
Future Scope
The following modules can be added for interactivity-
- Coding challenge of the day
- Quiz and games section with a leaderboard
- Link to discussion forum
- About the IT department’s latest ventures and its student’s achievements
